Friends Escapades: Girls' Day Out

Tee, Jaycee and I enjoyed a girls' day out recently. We all just needed a day away from kids, boyfriends and work.  We had an awesome time!  We left for the city early, so we had time to catch lunch, shop and shoot the crap.  Tee met me at my house, because we were going to ride with Jaycee.  She arrived around 9:30 am.

Once we got on the road, we began the truth conversation.  Meaning, if anyone of us asked the other a question, it had to be truthful.  Wow, did this open our eyes to our previous and current relationships as well as future plans.  Without spilling the tea, let’s just say it was extra juicy! Heck, I learned a lot about them and myself.

Living Single: A Night Out On The Town

Once again, I had the opportunity to treat myself to a night out on the town.  Being that EP is three states away and I really wanted to see the Tyler Perry movie, I decided to go at it alone.

I started my date off with passing by the mall. I actually had intentions of just window shopping but ended up purchasing several things that caught my eye a while ago. The items were finally on sale, yes, I must admit, I am a bargin shopper, and it was time for me to snatch them up.  I ended up buying a pair of shoes and clothing.  I did manage to put something else on my watch-list, so I will be back to get them later; yes, more shoes

Sidebar: Cable Hunting

Recently, I moved and my new place has a huge tree blocking the line of sight for service with Directv.  Therefore, I had to begin shopping around for cable service.  I have had my cable service with Directv for years and have grown to love the service.
Shopping for cable service sucked because we are only offered Cox and they truly suck!!!!  I did not want new service and yet alone with Cox.  They are a monopoly company which means that they are price gouging and their customer service is very lacking!

Later, I began to vent to a coworker about the price, she suggested that I look into At&t U-verse!  She was telling me about the packages that were being offered and she was thinking about switching.  A friend also suggested them as well; because her friend has the service and loves it.  I proceeded onto the website to see what they had to offer.
